The Social and Charitable Gambling Program administers Iowa Code Chapter 99B, which regulates games of skill or chance, raffles, bingo, social gambling and amusement devices.  Qualified organizations may obtain a social and charitable gambling license to conduct fund-raising activities benefiting educational, civic, public, charitable, patriotic, or religious purposes.

Social and Charitable Gambling License Application
In order to conduct certain types of social and charitable gambling activities, you will need to obtain a social and charitable gambling license application. The application form describes the various types of licenses available (bingo, raffles, amusement concessions), as well as the licensing fees and requirements. (Note: You will need to have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to download and print the application.)

Veterans Organization Card Tournament License Application
Certain qualified organizations representing veterans may now apply for a card tournament license.  The license permits organizations to conduct a series of card games held during a consecutive period of 24 hours or less. 

Gambling Quarterly Report Form and Instructions
All qualified organizations are required to file a Gambling Quarterly Report form during the duration of their license.  Organizations with no gambling activity during the reporting period are also required to complete the licensing information section of the form and return it to the department. (Note: You will need to have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to download and print the application.)
