April 3, 2007: The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) and the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) are sponsoring a daylong seminar on "Pressure Ulcers and Restraints - Improving Conditions." While Iowa historically has a low incidence of pressure sores and restraint usage, this training session will focus on ways to further reduce the numbers.
