Administrative Rules

As constituents and stakeholders in the mission of the Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA), you are invited and encouraged to participate in this rules review process. To access the administrative rule chapters, in which you have an interest, the department has established a link to the Iowa General Assembly's Administrative Rules web site. DIA's administrative rules can be located in Iowa Administrative Code (IAC) under Agency 481 [Inspections and Appeals], Agency 486 [Employment Appeal Board], Agency 489 [Child Advocacy Board], Agency 491 [Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission], and Agency 493 [State Public Defender's Office]. In order to view the administrative rules, you will need to have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
